Dwarf Mulberry Tree

If you have a Mulberry (or Dwarf Mulberry) tree, right now it should be filled with fruit that is almost ready for harvest.  This dwarf tree is grown in a container in downtown Lakeland. Growing this tree in a container is a great idea and the dwarf variety makes it easy to harvest fruit.
The fruit of the Mulberry is very sweet but very delicate.  It is a favorite of birds so pick the fruit as soon as they ripen.  If you are looking for a fruit tree, the dwarf mulberry is a great addition to your edible garden.  Look for the tree at nurseries that specialize in fruit crops. Enjoy!
